New "Retro" LayoutSeptember.27.2008
Same format as my past layout, but brighter and better for the time being. I added RSS icons to the top image to encourage subscriptions and just to add some "pop". I got inspired by a recent wallpaper that I made. I followed a tutorial over at Tutorial9 and that's why I call this my new "retro" layout.
If you're using either Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari hover over the navigation up above. I added some jQuery to it to make it less boring. I don't know if this will work with Opera, I really need to add that onto my todo list, download Opera. If you're using Internet Explorer, download Firefox because it's better, and you can't see the awesome effect.
Sorry I haven't blogged in forever, school's been very interesting. I already know what I'm going to blog about tomorrow, except it to be able school. Enjoy the new layout and any advice is appreciated.
Edit: I downloaded Opera and the jQuery works in there.
I've used JQuery at work, and the code in the core version works fine in Internet Explorer. So, you might want to check your code. Or, other jquery/javascript code you're using which can "conflict".
The layout is promising, although, the strip on the right seems rather out of place.
The new layout is great! Have you considered submitting it to Perfection?
It looks good, although like what Vera said, the bottom right stripes don't really belong there. You can actually just get rid of it :P
Uhm... "rector" layout? o.O Not retro?
Ooh, I really like this! The colors look great. Hmm, your "rector" layout, eh? That name sounds familiar.
I hope you did your five times each!
loveee the new layout!!!!
